Keto Stuffed Jalapeños for 1

This is honestly my first time having stuffed jalapenos. In my 35 years of existence....I never! Shocker, I know! But I used up half a brick of cream cheese and I needed to hurry up and use the last half before it expired and I found it! Only need 1/4 of the brick, I ended up using the other 1/4 for cheese and crackers.

Ingredients:

3 jalapenos (I used canned pickled jalapenos)

2 oz cream cheese (1/4 of a brick)

2 tbsp shredded cheese

generous pinch of garlic powder

generous pinch of onion powder

3 slices of bacon (thick recommended)

salt and pepper to taste

orange pepper as topping


Directions:


Slice stem off jalapeno and vertically slice jalapenos. Scoop out the innards. Should have 6 pieces.

In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper to a paste.

Cut bacon in half to make 6 pieces.

Fill each half with the cream cheese. Filling will be like playdough. 

Wrap each of the 6 pieces with 1/2 slice of bacon.

Set on parchment paper and set in air fryer 350 degrees for 16 minutes.

Let cool 5-10 minutes and eat!
